The Minneapolis-St. Paul Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta is a strong group of women of all ages and backgrounds, interested in continuing their membership, rights and privileges after graduation. As an alumnae chapter we enjoy many events throughout the year such as happy hours, movie nights, cookie exchanges and philanthropic events to name a few. Our biggest event of the year is Founders Day in the fall, which we celebrate with our local collegiate chapters, Kappa (University of Minnesota) and Gamma Pi (Minnesota State University at Mankato).
We support Girls on the Run as part of Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic focus, Building Strong Girls.
We prepare graduating seniors at the local collegiate chapters, help introduce them to the alumnae chapter, and ease the transition from graduating senior to active alumna. We host four events with the graduating seniors, a LOVE event (sisterhood), a LABOR event (volunteering), a LEARNING event (career panel/resume workshop), and culminating in our LOYALTY event (senior welcome).
